For many years, Beyond Borders has teamed up with Food in Community to deliver food packages to refugees and asylum seekers in Plymouth and Torbay. 

We have a small but fantastic team of dedicated volunteers who regularly pack the veg before negotiating the Plymouth drops. The food, largely organic veg that is surplus to requirement at Riverford, is packed at Dartington School farm before being driven out to the recipients. 

In addition to the (mostly organic) vegetables, we currently receive donations of store cupboard goods which are picked up from the (local) individual homes and together with a large weekly donation of dried food goods from Morrisons, are all divided amongst the houses and delivered at the same time.

We are currently looking for new volunteers to join our driving team in the Torbay area..
